Rules run in visible order. Match BuddyPress or BuddyBoss component patterns, action patterns, or both. Choose whether every supplied pattern must match or whether either side may match, then reorder rules without code.

Set policy per event
Each rule declares which delivery channels exist, which are selected by default, whether the event is normal or priority, whether members may change it, and whether it may enter a digest.

Protect required communication
Disable member override when a security, account, moderation, or service event must stay managed by the site. The member preference matrix labels required and managed rows, disables unavailable choices, and still exposes optional events normally.
One policy across delivery
The same rule catalog controls immediate notifications, native BuddyPress email synchronization, quiet-hour bypass, Web Push queues and retries, member preferences, and digest inclusion. Existing seven-category configurations migrate into versioned rules instead of being discarded.
Safe no-code editing
Changes participate in the main configuration draft, Undo and Redo history, semantic diff, named versions, scheduled publishing, export, and rollback workflows. Provider credentials and member delivery records never enter portable configuration.
