Software privacy

Privacy Policy

This policy explains data used to process software purchases, provide customer accounts, validate licenses and deliver private updates.

Effective July 10, 2026

Information we process

We process customer email, name where supplied, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan status, invoice state, license records and support communications. We do not store full payment-card numbers.

License requests include product slug, license key, random installation identifier, site URL, site hostname and installed product version. We retain activation status and last-check time so customers can manage site limits and receive updates.

Security and abuse prevention

Authentication and license tokens are stored as one-way hashes. Recoverable license keys are encrypted at rest. IP addresses used for rate limiting and audit records are stored as keyed hashes rather than raw values. Security logs can include request time, user agent, action type and affected account or license.

How information is used

We use this information to complete purchases, provision subscriptions, issue and validate licenses, enforce activation limits, deliver updates, maintain account sessions, prevent abuse, provide support and meet accounting obligations. We do not sell customer data or use license traffic for advertising profiles.

Service providers

Stripe processes checkout, subscription billing, invoices and payment methods. Mailjet delivers account and product emails. Cloudflare stores and delivers private release files and may process network-security data. Our hosting and database providers process application data required to operate Wesolvers services. Each provider receives only information needed for its role.

Retention

We retain account, purchase and invoice records as required for contractual, tax and accounting purposes. Expired sessions, magic links, rate-limit buckets and download grants are short-lived operational records. License and activation history is retained while an account exists or while needed to resolve support, security or billing disputes.

Your choices and rights

You can manage billing and cancellation through the customer portal, deactivate licensed sites from your account, and request access, correction or deletion of eligible personal information. Legal recordkeeping obligations may require us to retain limited transaction data.
