Troubleshoot templates, components, permissions, and integrations

Check the layer that owns the failure

• Component missing: license, dependency, or Component Availability
• Component renders empty: current context, native data, privacy, or audience policy
• Mutation fails: nonce, login state, permission, membership, or Community Engine rule
• Route is wrong: mapping, template publication, canonical BuddyPress URL, or cache
• Forum unavailable: activate BuddyBoss Forum Discussions or bbPress

Safe isolation sequence

1. Reproduce on the canonical route.
2. Check as administrator and ordinary member.
3. Disable page caching for the route.
4. Confirm the native BuddyPress object exists.
5. Review Community Engine and component visibility.
6. Capture the REST status and error code.
