Edit without changing production
Adjust the Product settings form, name the release, and choose Save as configuration draft instead of Save Changes. The submitted design, component, Community Engine, route, shell, and current Email Studio values pass through their normal sanitizers but do not update live WordPress options.

Automatic recovery while editing
After 2.5 seconds without another edit, BP Builder Addons updates one compressed private recovery draft for that administrator. The editor reports queued, saving, saved, clean, paused, or failed state without interrupting the form. Returning every field to its live value removes the empty recovery; Continue editing restores any draft under a clear live-safe banner.

Undo and redo complete editor states
Editing history keeps up to twenty steps inside the current browser tab. Undo and Redo restore ordinary fields and structural visual studios through the same sanitized private-recovery renderer, so palettes, topics, profile fields, member and group types, discovery facets, engagement programs, access policies, routes, and shells return as complete editor structures without publishing live options.

Publish now with automatic rollback
Publish now first records the existing live setup as a safety version, sanitizes the draft again, resolves templates by slug, applies Email Studio values through its validated manager, and records the resulting configuration in history. A short-lived lock prevents duplicate publication.
Schedule, reschedule, or cancel
Choose a future time in the WordPress timezone. BP Builder Addons creates one single-event schedule for that draft. Rescheduling replaces it; cancellation clears it without deleting the draft; Publish now can release it early.

Private bounded storage
Draft payloads are compressed, stored with autoload disabled, limited to ten records, and removed with their scheduled events on uninstall unless data preservation is enabled. License data, provider secrets, WebSocket addresses, two-factor credentials, passkeys, member records, and content never enter draft storage.
